After crossing the bridge of Learning, I landed on the other side which was the world of Assessments. Here all the Learned elements were being assessed in different forms.
The preceding step was to learn self and peer assessments

I came across a few examples of self and peer assessments
After understanding self and peer assessments, I learned about types of assessments
A little walk ahead got me in to a cave which said "Authentic Assessments"
which led me to also understand the performance assessments
After coming out of the cave I went a little ahead to find out what about assessment's validity, reliability and fairness
Validity is defined as "an indication of how well an assessment actually measures what it is supposed to measure." Every assessment requires students to complete some task or activity. A valid task should: reflect actual knowledge or performance, not test-taking skill and memorized algorithms; engage and motivate students to perform to the best of their ability; be consistent with current educational theory and practice; be reviewed by experts to judge content quality and authenticity.
Reliability is defined as "an indication of the consistency of scores across evaluators or over time." An assessment is considered reliable when the same results occur regardless of when the assessment occurs or who does the scoring. There should be compelling evidence to show that results are consistent across raters and across scoring occasions.
Fairness means that an assessment should "allow for students of both genders and all backgrounds to do equally well. All students should have equal opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge being assessed." The fairness of the assessment is jeopardized if bias exists either in the task or in the rater.

I passed over the rock and sat down a little while to figure out what Assessment Planning is
Near the rock I found a paper which had a title of Rubric. I extended my journey to find out what it was
Then came the junction of Feed back
Item writing and reviewing was another stop over
I felt really tired and sat down for a while to see Table of Specification in detail
Then I came across a small room named "Blooms taxonomy" I entered to find out what was inside
After crossing all the junctions and stop overs the world of assessment is now making complete sense. The jigsaw pieces are compiled together to give a perfect picture of learning and assessments.
My overall experience of the World of Assessments
Assessment has always been a very frightening word for any student and it has been for me too but after understanding it completely it does not make me get scared of it any more.
My understanding of assessments grew as the course proceeded. I came across many different terminologies like self and peer assessments and rubrics etc which I was never aware of.
I gained the understanding that nothing is better than a planned assessment for learning. For a good assessment we need to keep a lot of things in mind and it should be well planned so to carry out in an actual learning situation is not a difficult task at all.
After completing the course on assessments I feel like I have learned a lot but there is still a world of assessments yet to be explored
